Yoshimi Arts is pleased to announce “／”, the solo exhibition by Yugo Kohrogi.

There is a thing that is full of savagery and sophistication, and continuously changing.
From the day of birth, human bodily sensations degenerate and wither away beyond the narrow perception of media or the computerized body.
On the other hand, the sense of spirit is kept by religious beliefs, such as the immortality of the body.
Then what is the thing of pure sense of the organic body that is connected from a primitive age?
Yugo Kohrogi's artworks always expose the true nature of space by the use of the lines which are in a delineating state or by the wriggling texture of the materials.
It's as if it evokes a perception of the forms that completely objectifies them.

Although we have introduced the works of Yugo Kohrogi, this is his first solo exhibition at our gallery and will consist of new works (mainly oil painting).
